Mr. Binaya Bhandari is a qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, bringing over a decade of extensive experience in the audit and financial sectors to his role as the Head of Account and Finance at Nepal Life Insurance. His comprehensive background includes leadership positions as the former Head of the Alternate Investment Department and the Internal Control Department within the company.

Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, Mr. Bhandari cultivated a robust understanding of financial operations and risk management. His experience encompasses NFRS implementation, the establishment of Risk Based Internal Audit frameworks, the development and implementation of Internal Control Systems, the preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the creation of Risk Management Frameworks.

His previous role as Head of the Alternate Investment Department at Nepal Life Insurance, coupled with his foundational experience as a Finance Officer at NIC Asia Bank, has equipped him with a unique perspective on financial strategy and control. Notably, his dedication to enhancing the company's internal controls through tireless effort and expertise in designing and implementing control frameworks, conducting risk assessments, and developing policies and procedures has significantly strengthened the organization's operational efficiency and compliance.
