Mr. Purushotam Lal Sanghai is a distinguished Nepali industrialist and corporate leader with extensive experience in banking, insurance, and industrial sectors. He currently serves as the Chairman of Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited, representing the promoter shareholders.

After joining the family business at the young age of 22, Mr. Sanghai demonstrated strong determination and a vision to make a meaningful difference in the business community. He is widely recognized for his strategic leadership and long-standing contribution to Nepal’s private sector through his association with Triveni Group Nepal, a leading business conglomerate involved in manufacturing, cement, finance, trading, and construction.

Mr. Sanghai has also gathered significant experience in the life insurance sector through his earlier tenure as Chairperson of Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited from 2057/11/15 to 2070/02/27 B.S., during which he contributed to strengthening the company’s institutional foundation and guiding its growth. Over the years, he has also served on the boards of several prominent institutions, including NMB Bank Limited, contributing to sound corporate governance and institutional development. With decades of leadership and industry insight, Mr. Sanghai continues to support the sustainable growth and long-term vision of Nepal Life Insurance.
