Mr. Bimal Prasad Dhakal represents the Board of Directors from the Public Group. He is a Law professional and holds qualification as an advocate from Nepal Bar Council and is a Master in Law. He has more than 25 years of experience in field of law and governance. He has served in various capacities like advocate in the Supreme court of Nepal, Secretary of Appeal court Bar Association, Member of central Executive Council of Bar Association, Member of Judicial Transaparency Promotion Committee, Member of Commercial law committee and Member secretary of Telecommunication law committee.
His corporate experience has been associated with companies like united Telecom Limited (A JV of MTNL, TCIL, Tata Communication, NVPL), Air Dynasty -Heli services Pvt Ltd, World Bank, Asian development bank, Nepal Telecommunication authority and Bank of Asia.
Over his tenure he also conducted various traininigs, seminar and workshops in the areas like Nattional Strategy on Sustainable Development, Trans-boundary water sharing between india and Nepal, South Asia water forum which has enbaled him to impart his knowledge and skills. He holds vast experience in telecommunication industry.
He is currently on the Board of Nepal Life and conributing his vast experience in the field of law and governance as the industry is being regulated by the government.
